Join us in our mission to build hope in the Lowcountry through urgent professional home repairs and critical maintenance for Charleston Tri-County neighbors and seniors in need.

Your generosity brings immediate relief, safety, livability, survivability, and accessibility to these families.

Every dollar raised goes directly to families in need.

100% of donations received cover specialized equipment, labor, and materials to complete the critical home repair and maintenance needs of residents at high risk of homelessness and mold-related illness in the Charleston Tri-County Area.

Hope projects include but are not limited to destructive water intrusion; absence of interior heat and air; mold infestation; roofing, siding, and interior repairs that impact structural integrity; accessibility installations for resident disabilities; and more.

As a nonprofit extension of Welch Custom Homes, we utilize the construction relationships the company has established over the past decade to minimize expenses. Trusted Welch sub-partners and subcontractors generously donate time and provide equipment and supplies at cost. Any overhead expenses for Welch Community Hope is funded separately and wholly by Welch Custom Homes.

Welch Community Hope recipients are referred by local churches, nonprofit organizations, and local city municipalities. Joe Welch personally meets and qualifies each recipient family to determine eligibility, need, and project scope.
