Located in the Elliotborough neighborhood of Charleston, the freedman’s cottage at 38 Rose Lane has been in the Martin family for almost 70 years. They dream of getting the house back to a livable condition, which will require structural reinforcement, exterior repairs, and refinishing the house’s interior. This is a current project being completed by Welch Community Hope!
