We are deeply honored to share that Welch Community Hope has been recognized by the Historic Charleston Foundation (HCF) with a Preservation Award. This acknowledgment reflects our commitment to preserving Charleston’s historic fabric and supporting our community.
Recently, we partnered with HCF to complete a Common Cause Loan Fund project on Rose Lane. This historic cottage, held by the same family for nearly a century, required structural reinforcement, exterior repairs, and interior refinishing. Through collaboration with subcontractors who donated services and reduced costs, we were able to restore the home while preserving its historical integrity.
Receiving this Preservation Award affirms our belief that preserving history and supporting our neighbors go hand in hand. We are grateful to HCF for this recognition and to our community partners who make our work possible.
